A natural emulsi-gelling agent from plant extract ideal to formulate gel cream with silicone-like feeling.

ALTER-EMULGEL is a complex of several plant extracts, including Konjac root and African birch.
100% natural, this emulsi-gelling agent is ideal to formulate gel cream with a “silicone-like” feeling.
A sensorial study carried out with a blind expert panel demonstrated a very glide comfort during application and extreme softness. Quickly absorbed into the skin. it leaves no greasy or sticky finish.

Used at 1.3%, ALTER-EMULGEL can be used to formulate gel cream, without the need for co-emulsifier.
Depending on the percentage of oil used, emulsion texture can vary from a fluid emulsion (between 5 and 10%), to a rich/thick emulsion (between 20 and 25%), without a greasy feel.

Very optimum emulsion’s stability in a range of pH from 3 to 6. Alter-Emulgel can emulsify media containing some electrolytes, preservatives and ethanol (until 10%).
