Ingredient description
ASCOTHIN is a dry extract of the brown algae Ascophyllum nodosum. It is rich in polyphenols and fucoidanes.
This ingredient is objectified in vitro on the inhibition of 3 digestive enzymes: amylase, lipase and glucoidase. The inhibitory activity of these enzymes is re-measured on each production batch. It exclusively contains 2 active molecules polyphenols and fucoidans.
Nutraceutical properties
ASCOTHIN is an ingredient that has slimming properties thanks to its content of polyphenols specific to these brown algae : phlorotannins. They inhibit the main enzymes of digestion, lipase and amylase.
