The oil is obtained by cold pressing cranberry seeds. This ingredient is a co-product of the cranberry juice extraction from Canada.
Nutraceutical properties
Cranberry oil is rich in essential fatty acids and in particular in omega 3 fatty acids.
* Authorized claim according to the Commission Regulation (EU) 432/2012 of 16/05/2012 :
- ALA contributes to the maintenance of a normal blood cholesterol level*.
- Linoleic acid contributes to the maintenance of a normal blood cholesterol level*.
- Essential fatty acids are necessary for normal growth and development in children. *
